Another month of recording cover tunes everyday leads to this latest bandcamp exclusive. "20 GOLDEN HITS OF THE 70'S". Yes this time i've done a bunch of 70's faves! Like the 60's and 80's collections i shared last year, i did all the tunes with the same tempo, structure and melodies as the original, but played and recorded in my style and replacing all keyboard, strings and horn parts with guitars.

Once again, i'm quite pleased with how it turned out. It's a lot of fun to make these cover tune collections, and good practice for learning new skills on guitar, bass, drums, vocals and mixing.
Hope you dig hearing all the tunes.

As a lifelong fan of psyche, I was delighted to have found this, stunned that I'd missed them for three decades and devastated by the news of Dallas' passing. Makes many of the album's lyrics even more poignant. I hear echoes of the Chocolate Watch Band, Long Ryders and both the pop and country sides of the Byrds.
