lexomatic A little rawer, sloppier ( though not poorly played),with the guitar pushing that thin air between atmosphere and space... it's some of my fave Sadies songs with vocals a bit more to my taste musically. Hope it was a good way to grieve. I love this whole album but I chose the song that made me love The Sadies. I love that barely restrained fuzz outdoors. I could listen to that for a while with ever increasing fuzz and reverb. Favorite track: ANOTHER YEAR AGAIN.

I love the Sadies. I love the guys, their big loving family, seeing them play, playing with them in the Unintended or as a guest during one of their concerts. I also think they made a bunch of great albums with many wonderful songs and lyrics. I've been actually planning this project for many years, but the shock of Dallas Good's sudden death in February finally set me into motion.

So now, as a loving tribute to Dallas and the guys, and with the bands blessing, i've recorded my own versions of 14 of my favourite Sadies songs. Both to help me deal with some emotions over the loss of my close friend, and just to share with you all who may enjoy hearing it too. It's been a great way to really get inside of their lyrics and musicianship at a much deeper level.

As a lifelong fan of psyche, I was delighted to have found this, stunned that I'd missed them for three decades and devastated by the news of Dallas' passing. Makes many of the album's lyrics even more poignant. I hear echoes of the Chocolate Watch Band, Long Ryders and both the pop and country sides of the Byrds. Stunning, and a contender for my album of the year. Iain H
