about

I recently transfered all my old master DAT tapes into wave files so i could newly remaster all of my stereo mixes from 1994 through to 2000. The DAT was my main machine for mixing to from my 1/2 inch 8track during that time. Not only are all my demos and Elevator recordings on those tapes, but also most every other session i recorded and mixed for my other favourite local Moncton friends and bands too.

In 1996 i originally released a Moncton band compilation like this on cassette. It was called THE STEREOSCOPIC SCARY SHOW - AN AUDIOLOGICAL VIEW OF MONCTON and came with a little comic. The next year i re-released it on CD with some extra songs added. A few of the songs that appeared on that collection are here as well, but much better sounding now thanks to modern processes. Most of the other songs here have never been released in a digital form before, just heard on cassette tapes or 7 inch vinyl. A few have never been released before at all.

There's no charge if you wanna download all these tunes, i just wanted to make them all available for you and the bands themselves to enjoy again. Thank you for supporting all the other releases i've made available on this bandcamp page. I appreciate the care and support very much.

Please enjoy this new audiological view of Moncton, maybe i'll do another one some day featuring all the post 1998 stuff.
Thanks, Rick.
