This is the last of three albums i recorded solo as RickWhiteAlbum, this one recorded at home during 2008 and into early 2009 in a similar manner to the previous album MEMOREAPER from 2007. Released on CD and double 12 inch vinyl with a gatefold cover on Blue Fog Recordings.

20 songs plus a compiled last track that features a sound collage of all the album songs in reverse order, the album ended up being the last recordings of my own stuff that i would do before an extended break from music making.

Lyrically the album is mostly about philosophical struggles with creation and being, in both art and self. Thoughts about BELIEF, PERCEPTION, and MANIFESTATION were strong at this point in my life, and i was also rethinking the importance of music making all together. Side four of the album deals with that quite clearly, and the song GREY REMAINS, basically says goodbye to the process.

I still worked on recording and mixing some friends albums after this for a couple years, with the last being JULIE DOIRONS "so many days" album in 2012, but 137 was the last of my own tunes until 2019.

So here is a downloadable wave version of the full album, taken from the masters that i find sound better than the manufactured CD's did.
